This week I have included some grammar work for you. We will be looking at alphabetical order, verbs, ownership & homophones.
Alphabetical order: If you want to learn more about alphabetical order look at a dictionary and see how the words are ordered.
Verbs are action words eg. run, hop, jump, read.
Ownership describes how we use the words ours & their when we talk about things which belong eg. our house, their coats.
Homophones are words which sound the same but have different meanings eg. too & two, carrot & carat, read & reed.
There is also a comprehension activity Old Noah’s Ark. Read the poem and answer the questions about it.
Finally there is some work on jumbled sentences for you to complete.

Continue with your reading, Nessy and to check the Primary Planet website daily for new activities. I will post some dictation for you on Seesaw on Wednesday so remember to check your folders.
